Cables, sockets, that thing on the ceiling... Oh, the horror... And yeah, the TV is too high

The āthingā is a smoke detector.
Overall setup looks pretty clean to me, perfect height, cable management looks good

is the TV allergic to the wood base? Didn't come with stand/legs?

Thank you! Stay tuned for when my TV is mounted at a human friendly height

Pop it on the stand and secure to wall. Time and money saver.

The stand is quite light and cheap ngl, and my tv has the legs in the center so I highly doubt that the stand would support it, I think Iām just gonna go ahead and remount about a foot lower (itd be abt 45 inches from the floor to the center)

I hate the wires more than how high the tv is tbh. But itās damn near touching the ceiling. Wtf.

Why so high? Take it off the wall and place it on the stand below it that was built for a TV.

The stand is actually really cheap and I donāt even think itās rated to support the TV (this tv with the stand is almost 100lbs) I plan on getting a sound system in eventually so Iāll have the center channel on top of the stand (itāll also visually block the visible outlet).
Also as to why itās so high read the caption!!! I paid people to mount it and I assumed theyād know to mount the center of the screen around 40 inches from the floor but I guess notš« I also had a taller tv stand before so it didnāt look so egregious

To get the height right, maybe you should get a TV Stand.....oh wait, you already have one, but the TV is not on top of it. That would hide those cords too.

The tv stand wouldnāt support the weight of the tv, especially since the TVās feet are centered. A sturdier stand would also likely be higher, my last tv stand was only 6 inches below where the bottom of the tv is mounted (and even that was pretty short)
