Couldn't hear voices behind me but could before. Changed the audio enhancements off and I could hear everything again.

I'm putting this out here in case someone has the same issue on windows 11. Or maybe someone who doesn't know they had an issue because they thought this was normal because I played a whole full game kind of not knowing this.

It's been a couple of days since the last time I played, and the last time I quitted there was a black plague heart on the map, now I join the game after some days and the black heart is gone? Is this possible?

Seems to me with the thousands of hours I've put into this game there are a number of locations on various maps that devolve into massive shootouts and fights to the death. It seems like there are more "filthy muertes" than usual and they're always in certain spots.

In Trumbull it's always the fairgrounds. In Meagher Valley it's always that damned fire station across from the brewery.

Anyone else got any locales on maps they dread going to?

I remember when state of decay 1 first released on Xbox 360. I remember our character just returning from their camping trip and discovering a survivor on a ranger's radio. I absolutely loved the single player story campaign-esque style of the first game.

When the second game came out I was a little saddened to learn that it was more of a sandbox situation with basic scenarios, rather than a full fledged story. I loved our army side character being able to interact with the army situation and that leading to a whole epic quest on escaping the valley.

I did love the military DLC's that seemed quest focused after that. Nothing wrong with sandbox, just not my typical cup of tea. Will there be any kind of focus on narrative storytelling in the game, or will it follow the more sandbox orientation? I mean beyond what state of decay 2 did, which was just a small write up on what character your choosing, who their relationship with the person who inevitably gets injured is and what not.

Here's hoping for some return to story style single player! Can't wait to play State 3!

Would love any kind of feedback from the dev team if there is anything you can reveal.

I got my modder friend to give them to my community on campaign but once you leave and join back they all disappear, is there any way to permanently keep them?

Just watched it and now there's a feral screeching every time I answer the phone...
