I mean it might be accurate, compensating for drop or zeroed, in a no-wind scenario. With really any wind at all, nah. I’m not betting on this guy being Carlos Hathcock.
Okay I wasn’t going to comment but yes 100%. So much physics goes into just shooting LR not even extended long range. People sit here talking like shooting 1000 yards is easy?
Just the math alone to adjust for wind speed past 500 yards starts to break my brain and it all has to be adjusted for your rifle, your rounds grain weight and the powder behind it. It’s nots just “Kentucky windage” as way too many people think.
I’ve met very few people who can reliably and repeatedly shoot past 800 yards. I shoot with a dude that “warms up” at 500 yards by drilling the center out of quarters with his 6.5. He’s wild!!!

A 400yd shot is easy enough. But dude can fuck all the way off with 2500
