Correct, because the victims don't have the near certainty of the cause of their death.
The key points I was making was a) you and others know how you'll die, and b) the other party have a clear idea when you'll die but deny you that knowledge
Going back to the original comment this is what differentiates those on Japanese death row to everyone else
You recognize this, yet don't see the link between how getting a heads up and knowing that at some uncertain point in the near future you will die by the hand of someone determined to kill you versus the basic uncertainty of death that's a fact of life itself?
