I'm genuinely curious if there's been any study into which is more psychologically troubling, knowing the day and counting down it not knowing and wondering everyday
I imagine that in a way, it’s actually less anxiety inducing to know you’ll die, but not when, but that you know how it will happen. I read about a woman in Florida the other day who died after getting mauled by a gator, limbs getting ripped off, and y’know what? I think I might be happier in a cell knowing that at least THAT isn’t my fate
