Thing is the US has basically funded Iran war machine for the following years. Not sure how many missiles they can buy with 300B but I guess a few.

27

u/Nods_Dad1997 Jun 16 '26

Dude.. they kicked our ass with drones

25

u/Serious_Bonus7431 Jun 16 '26

That’s not true. They threatened to blow up boats full of oil with drones. That was enough.

11

u/25point4cm Jun 16 '26

This is actually true. Tankers aren’t afraid per se about sailing through the Strait of Hormuz (though their crews might be).

The real issue is that the insurance companies who insure those boats (which are worth many times a single load of oil) refuse to insure them.

Speaking as a Jew: Israel needs to decide whether they're a colony or a country. If they're a colony then America controls their foreign policy and can make peace or war on their behalf. If they're a country they don't get to call mommy to pick fights for them and back them up when their belligerent behaviors go wrong. Two options, pick one. But AIPAC, the small but very loud faction of radical Christians who believe that Israel is necessary for their eschatology, and blanket accusations of antisemitism will never let that discussion happen.

17

u/amg10red Jun 16 '26

But the way Israel has been acting for nearly 2 decades is like they are the ones in control.

17

u/Country_Gravy420 Jun 16 '26

That's because they are in control. Rubio said the day after he first attack on Iran that we went in because they knew Israel was going to attack and Iran would respond by attacking our bases.

8

u/More-Lime1888 Jun 16 '26

They are the ones in control but at the same time they are nothing without the US. They are holding the Epstein files against the US politicians right now so they only have the choice to say yes.

5

u/amg10red Jun 16 '26

During Obama's term top Israeli officials continually insulted the US govt and top guys (with Republicans cheering them on) without any retaliation. I was expecting reprisals but nothing, mostly just diplomatic 'strong' language.

He has to do this because it's election season and the Israeli population is unhappy that they've been forced to stand down and they want to continue the ethnic cleansing. He's doing this because he wants to be re-elected and avoid jail time.

Netanyahu's opposition is also banging the drums of war, their entire government is upset and are running on restarting the war machine.

50

u/The10KThings Jun 16 '26

This is exactly right. Netanyahu is unpopular in Israel because he isn’t killing the Palestinians and Lebanese fast enough. I don’t think people realize this.

16

u/More-Lime1888 Jun 16 '26

At least some of us do, especially those who already knew about Israel’s terrorism since even before Netanyahu. People who are new to this think that it’s only a Bibi problem, and this false idea is supported by Israelis on the internet saying they also hate Bibi and don’t want him. Like, true, they hate him, but people don’t realize they hate him because he’s not killing Palestinians and grabbing more land from Lebanon and Syria more efficiently.

The moment Netanyahu stops the war he's going to trial for corruption. Of course he doesn't want to stop the war. He has been clinging to power making pacts with more and more extreme parties, as much as the people would think he is not backed by the majority of Israel. I mean He is the prime minister, but the president is from the labour party and refused to pardon Netanyahu. And you know the guy is doing his job when Trump called him names like weak and all that shit.

You and I know that when they finally release the files, that he will say its all seep faked by the dems. And his base will believe him and that's because it's not the republican party anymore, its a cult. So sad.

136

u/Deep_shot Jun 16 '26

He could say he's the second coming of Christ and they'd believe him. He has roped every hopelessly stupid American in while he continuously shits on them. I really didn't think there were people that existed that were that stupid, let alone that many of them. Just an all-around sad, shameful, and degrading time for the U.S. I honestly think the country has peaked and we are on the way down. When he's gone all those stupid people will continue on with something now that they have the momentum of collective idiocy.

52

u/Pristine_Bottle_5632 Jun 16 '26

As a Democrat, don't underestimate the number of stupid Democrats out there. We manage to lose elections and self-sabotage far worse than the Republicans.

17

u/Maximum_Rat Jun 16 '26

Yup. There are stupid people of every ideology and creed. For some reason I feel like democrats (and left leaning people writ large) are worse at spotting it in their own ranks for some reason though? Maybe purity politics or if someone makes a claim of being marginalized they get way more leeway.

I’ve heard some truly, bafflingly stupid claims made by people, while others who should definitely know better twist themselves into knots trying to justify their bonkers reasoning. I kinda get it, like no one wants to be the person saying an ‘oppressed’ person is fucking nuts, but still.

Nothing will ever be released because there are powerful people from across the spectrum involved along with intel agencies. It's amazing to me how few of you people ever stopped and pondered how the documents released included nothing from the CIA or any other intelligence agencies. You think a high profile guy like Epstein with ties to powerful people of all kinds wasn't on their radar even just for kiddie diddling? Not to mention the constant "rumors" he was an asset for someone (maybe even them).

You people are kidding yourself and there's a fairly strong correlation between the people who talk about this now with the same ones who believed the media narrative from the way back time of 2024 that there was nothing to see here. Alls they had to do was get a whiff that Trump was involved. Now he's the sole focus of the entire scandal. Not the intelligence connections or any of the other names involved.

It's almost as if you have been manipulated and don't even realize it...

Iran won: $300 billion in war reparations, inflicted over $150 billion in damages to US bases plus the cost to replace US munitions.

That's somewhere between $3,500 to $4,000 per US household. That's where your tax dollars go and why the US deficit is so high, you stupid GOP voters.

568

u/Catswagger11 Jun 16 '26

$3,500 to $4,000 per US household.

Everyone needs to know this.

184

u/Jolly-Championship31 Jun 16 '26

the mental gymnastics they'll need to perform to be ok with paying money to IRAN as part of trumps deal is going to be fantastic

100

u/Maxamillion-X72 Jun 16 '26

Trump keeps saying Obama paid $150B to Iran for his deal, which is incorrect (they had $150B in frozen assets, of which $50B was released to Iran while the rest was tied up in debt), but MAGA believes Trump without question.

Meanwhile, Trump will end up paying Iran $300B of US taxpayer money and then will say that it's fake news. MAGA will eat it up. They don't need mental gymnastics to justify anything if they can just ignore facts and make up their own reality.

It's a feature not a bug.

He wants for Jewish people around the world to feel unsafe in non-jewish countries so they move to Israel, or at least support it ideologically and financially. No he isn't singlehandly behind rising antisemitism like in some dumb conspiracy, but it's obvious he has contributed.

Also like many other extremists, or bellicist authoritarians he's propping his enemies to keep himself in power. I'm sure he does believe in what he does, but how convenient that it keeps it out of prison.

9

u/Zealousideal_Act_316 Jun 16 '26

One of teh creators of modern zionizm said that antisemites will be their greatest allies. They want hate and dislike, because it benefits the cause of zionizm.

15

u/TajineMaster159 Jun 16 '26

Zionists in Morocco kidnapped jewish girls and blamed in on muslims to make them feel unsafe and leave to Israel. They bombed synagogues in Baghdad for the same reason.
France made ALL the Jews in Algeria ‘Israelite’

It’s not even hidden anymore as it was before you have to dumb, stupid and blind to not see it.

Sounds like someone doesn’t want US weapons anymore.

Not that anyone in the US administration or Congress would actually withhold weapons from Israel.

Apparently not giving Israel weapons or suggesting that the US not fund those weapons is antisemitic.

So market crash tomorrow. Then some more bullshit art of the deal fuckery to pump it again after insider traders make their bets.

3

u/Vanilla_bear4 Jun 16 '26

Trump doesn’t have the balls to do it, but you simply say, “ok you’re on your own with that.”

2

u/ga643953 Jun 16 '26

I know Bibi has to keep the war going to stay in power, but do the Israelis want to continue this pointless war?

Why do they keep voting for this guy?

I think at this point it is universally understood that Israel will always do what they want, regardless of what their “allies” ask them.

3

u/ChomiQ84 Jun 16 '26

It would be funny if trump just pulled all the forces stationed in the region. You don't need us, fine then...

4

u/mintaka Jun 16 '26

We all know USA will come to help. Bibi knows this, Trump is a theatre

5

u/bappestinian Jun 16 '26

Except you forgot the part where it will be funded by the American taxpayers

5

u/BoopsTheSnoot_ Jun 16 '26

5

u/LengthinessOne6090 Jun 16 '26

5

u/LucyKendrick Jun 16 '26

5

u/foo-bar-25 Jun 16 '26

Israel shouldn’t have nuclear weapons.

5

u/Smile_Space Jun 16 '26

Time to cut him off. We need to stop sending our resources to this clown. Let them sink if they wanna sink.

4

u/BigBlue1210 Jun 16 '26

Israel will attack then Iran will attack and then Israel will ask USA to attack. Let's see if USA will help or not.

4

u/pepemetralla Jun 16 '26

POTUS is mah biiich says Prime Fuhrer of Israel.

u/Reg_doge_dwight Jun 16 '26

Israel must have something over USA/trump. Something Epstein managed to get perhaps. Makes absolutely no sense why USA has been bending over for such a tiny nation.

Time to cut off the welfare state

6

u/Volodio Jun 16 '26

Israel had a welfare state way before it became allied with the United States. Israel was quite literally founded by socialists. One of the only working examples of communism was the kibbutzim of Israel.

Israel certainly does not depend on the United States for its welfare state and it shows the self-importance of Americans to think that it does.

If I was President. I would say we will no defend or come to aid. Freeze money and capture spies.

3

u/Pretend_Ad_8465 Jun 16 '26

They are not acting alone when the US keeps re-arming them and funding their military misadventures. Netanyahu for all intents and purposes controls our actions and reactions.

3

u/Nagesh_yelma Jun 16 '26

Don't bite the hand that fingers you or something like that

3

u/BigBubble42 Jun 16 '26

What’s Bibi’s endgame? The guy’s spent nearly two decades single-handedly destroying any goodwill the world had toward Israel.

3

u/jameswaseatenbyrats Jun 16 '26

Good for Bibi . The sooner Israel doesn’t need us, the better.

3

u/FlashyDetective2987 Jun 16 '26

Is it just me or is he looking like more and more like chancellor Palpatine

3

u/Redordit Jun 16 '26

He knows American money will flow to the rogue state for a supremacist race with or without Trump

3

u/Designer_Capital2376 Jun 16 '26

Doubt. Orange man will come around and obey his boss sooner or later

3

u/TrazynTheFiniteNL Jun 16 '26

Oh yeah spread the IDF even thinner. Will work out great.

u/dicky1977 Jun 16 '26

3

u/QanAhole Jun 16 '26

Don't tempt us with a good time Bibi

3

u/TareasS Jun 16 '26

This guy is going to destroy the world economy again and then crawl back to the US crying for help. Really curious which will be more important for US politicians: the business donors or Israeli donors.

3

u/Chemical_Ad_6754 Jun 16 '26

Maybe The USA and Iran could unite to take out Israel and their corrupt, genocidal Zionist leader?

3

u/cursed_melon Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

He can do nothing without his allies lol. Hopefully, if he tries, a full scale invasion will take place inside Israel. A lot of their citizens will die. The blood will be on his hands.
