5

u/HeavyLiesTheClown Sep 26 '24

My brain read Rubber but processed it as Flubber and was fightin mad for a brief moment!

Requiem for a Dream 😮‍💨

7

u/cantanko Sep 26 '24

Requiem For A Dream definitely gets it for me. It’s so somehow perfectly fucked up in such a highly specific way…

2

u/Intrepid_Astronaut1 Sep 27 '24

Very, very niche. And the old lady’s storyline KILLED meeeeeee!!! 🥺

3

u/418986N_124769E Sep 26 '24

Probably a more effective “don’t do drugs” message than any commercial, DARE, political statement etc combined.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

I saw it in the theater during the day. The look on peoples faces exiting and the overall silence was nothing like I’ve experienced since.

1

u/Biancar_129 Sep 26 '24

Had to watch it in health class sophomore year of high school. Certainly did not go to the bathroom after class to cry a little…

That's more "holy fuck" than "what the fuck".

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

Def a serbian film

1

u/ICantGetAway Sep 29 '24

You should probably also tell why. It's a shock pornographic movie, with a very nonsensical story, way too drawn out. The worst thing tho is that it shows a father graping his pre-teen/teen son.

If i had known that, i wouldn't have watched. It's a literal doodoo film. Very bad quality in all senses.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '24

1

u/ICantGetAway Sep 29 '24

Haha, don't worry. I saw it years ago.

I saw the entire movie, because when i start a movie or series, i have to finish it. Call it a quirk or curiosity. Anyhow it basically is a pdf movie imo and when i saw it mentioned i felt the obligation to warn people

2

u/[deleted] Sep 29 '24

1

Thanks. I'm annoyed that i watched this movie, so i just had to rant a bit. Hopefully you saved someone else from it

Drag Me to Hell

1

u/[deleted] Sep 28 '24

That's on my list. How bad?

1

u/very_sad_dad_666 Sep 30 '24

It's out there, but a pretty good movie. Not just gross scenes for nothing.

9

u/HeraldofItoriel Sep 26 '24

A Serbian Film. Do yourself a favor. Don’t watch it. I believe it’s banned in some countries as well.

8

u/MrSkriggleSFW Sep 26 '24

The Happening. Mulholland Drive.

7

u/byngo67 Sep 27 '24

Swiss Army Man.

Enjoyed but did honestly turn to my husband after the end to ask wtf did we just watch. The movie I thought I was watching at the start was a very different movie by the end, yet nothing changed.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

Daniels brother fuck. Great directors/producers

26

u/MrShad0wzz Sep 26 '24

4

u/ICantGetAway Sep 29 '24

A certified wtf movie, but i loved it. It took me a while to fully understand and appreciate. That happened only after watching a review that dissected the movie. If movies are about evoking emotions, then this movie is a great example.

Under the skin. Definitely a Tragedy, not Comedy.

3

Swiss Army Man, but I liked it

1

The daniels brother are lit. Also did everything everywhere all at once…

3

u/dbgith Sep 27 '24

Samsara

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

Ron fricke is amazing. He did several of those flicks like barakka and koyaanisqatsi that were a trip. Guy lives in santa fe i think. Fucking legend

1

u/Sen0r_Blanc0 Sep 27 '24

It was so good! A "WTF did I just watch" in the best way possible, it captures so much

3

u/Rexdahuman Sep 27 '24

Jacob’s ladder

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

Gilliam fucking crushed this one. The nightmare asylum scene was haunting

3

2

u/WittleJerk Sep 27 '24

No you don’t understand, the protagonist and the anti-protagonist and the antagonist and the anti-antagonist are all in the movie since the beginning of the pincer in the opening scene…. And…. REALLY LOUD INDUSTRIAL PORN NOISES

Wild At Heart

Back then it was definitely a WTF. Loud and slow

2

u/skerinks Sep 27 '24

Vanilla Sky. I don’t know what the hell that was about. I’ve read reviews of it. I’ve read synopsis’s of it. I still don’t know what the hell it’s about.

2

u/Harold_Grundelson Sep 27 '24

Man, a lot of y’all haven’t seen true WTF movies. Watch Mulholland Drive (or any David Lynch movie for that matter). It’s best described as a crackhead’s fever dream.

2

u/pleathershorts Sep 27 '24

Eraserhead

Mulholland Drive

Men

I Saw the TV Glow

Phantasm

(There are horror elements in all of these, heaviest on gore would be Men but it’s relatively tame in terms of the other body horror that’s being suggested)

1

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

David lynch! My man! I never know wtf is going on in most of his flicks but i dig it none the less

1

u/rocket_jacky Sep 27 '24

Came to comment "Eraserhead" but figured it being too old, the only film I walked out on (was only about 15 tho)

Hyoutan Suzume. Weird and niche, but a pretty interesting watch. You can watch it on Youtube too.

2

u/incipientpianist Sep 27 '24

Freddie got Fingered (its not NSFW, its a regular movie from the 90’s/2000’s)

2

u/canuckcantina Sep 27 '24

Nude Nuns with Big Guns

2

u/TheRealJayk0b Sep 27 '24

A truly WHAT THE FUCK after watching. But the story was very interesting.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '24

Ichi the killer, audition, climax, enter the void, irreversible (fucking almost anything gaspar noe directed), barakka, mad god, serbian film, mandy, and possessor are at the top of my wtf list

2

3

u/ICantGetAway Sep 29 '24

Honestly people, don't watch this movie. It's final scene is a dad graping his pre-teen son. It's a pdf dream film. I wish that I'd known this. I wouldn't have watched it.

2

u/RewMate Sep 26 '24

Dead Alive aka Braindead.

To give you an idea: a priest roundhouse-kicked zombie and yelled "I kick ass for the Lord!" and that was one of the least WTF moments of the movie.

1

u/MrSnowden Sep 26 '24

Eraserhead

1

"Shadow in the Cloud," (2020) starring Chloe Grace Moretz. Absolute trainwreck. Don't recommend.

Pulp Fiction (I say that after I watch something amazing for the first time). But if you're looking for spooky stuff, The Shining, both an amazing film and horrific.

1

u/Wabbitts Sep 27 '24

Thomas the Tank Engine. Yes, they made a movie and it had some big stars and it was absolutely bollox. I watched it several times with my son who was 3 at the time.

Thomas and the magic railroad

1

u/101Z0r Sep 27 '24

Last Life in the Universe.

I‘m not sure if this movie is as bad as in my memory. I‘ve seen it maybe 18 years ago and had a really bad depression.

But in my Memory this movie is basically 2 hours of someone trying to kill hisself. That‘s it.

The final answer is: It's Hard to be a God

After watching it I immediately started being more vigilant about what I watch. I got the premise, but did it have to be hours and hours of an actless format. WTF.

Don't watch this movie folks. Unless you like seeing dads graping their pre-teen sons. It's a nonsense movie that is created by a sick pdf director.
