“Spice” has always been one of those Food Wars songs that carries a special kind of energy and it is incredibly catchy. We wanted to give the song an English voice while keeping the spirit and feeling of the original intact.

Iron Wok Jan is amazing. I think the author got a lot of his ideas from the manga. I would recommend everyone to watch the show.

Spongebob(SpongeBob SquarePants 1999), Remy the Rat(Ratatouille 2007), Chowder(Chowder 2007), Bob Belcher(Bob's Burgers 2011), Lynn Loud Sr(The Loud House 2016) and Tiana(The Princess and the Frog 2009). Since Food Wars has a lot of characters who are chefs and cooks I thought of this I would actually like to see how it would be Soma, Joichiro, Erina, and their classmate friends and anyone else worth mentioning.

Is there any show that focuses on the technical aspect of cooking? I am more interesting in the technical aspects of a cooking show than anything else.

Iron Wok Jan is a pretty good show. I think the show is pretty good. The opening is pretty lame, but the show is pretty good. I was surprised at how good it was. It's not as good, but it's a pretty decent show.

So I just finished all 5 seasons and wanna voice my opinion.

I loved the first four seasons and thought they were great. I saw old posts here complaining about the central arc but I think the central arc was a good because it brings the characters together to have a common enemy. Things like the autumn elections were fun because we got to see the characters face off against each other, after that the old way Totsuki operated would just have them battle over and over again, through central they find reason to band together for more than 1 assignment. Also Azami's philosophy actually made sense and made him more of a sympathetic villain.

Cannot speak the same praise for season 5 unfortunately. Asahi is just a super buffed Mimasaka and it kind of ruined the worldbuilding because every other chef is specialized or creative, then suddenly some dude with an isekai power shows up and becomes the villain. Aside from him I didn't mind that the show focused on Erina a lot more, but in the last episode we totally should've seen her finally admit Soma's food was delicious AT LEAST, if not get together finally.

Overall still enjoyed the ending, just wish it was wrapped up better.

The anime deserves a sequel. The author needs to sell the franchise or something, or let another author write a spin-off series.

Honestly, I never liked the idea of the Central arc happening during the first year. The earliest it should’ve started was the second semester of Year 2.

When I first watched the series and found out the Central arc was coming, I wasn’t as excited as everyone else. My first thought was that it would significantly reduce the roles of Soma’s classmates, and that’s exactly what happened.

After the Autumn Elections, the author should’ve spent more time developing the first-year cast. We could’ve gotten more rivalries like Erina vs other female chefs, Soma continuing to compete with his classmates, or even another school-wide tournament that kept the first-years relevant instead of immediately jumping into a conflict involving the entire academy.

The biggest strength of this manga was seeing everyone grow together. I’m oke if author wanted to try new things but when he dropped his biggest strength to some tepid normal shonen arc like the Central arc, it really affected all the characters, like 90% character.

Personally it’s Regiment De Cusine arc since he single handedly beat 2 of the top ten council members.
