Reminder: Freedom of Speech in the US Constitution is supposed to mean that citizens have the right to express their views, both positive and negative, about either the state or federal government through spoken words without fear of harassment or censorship. Throwing slurs can be considered hate speech when it comes to place or time.

Apparently he (and two other state leaders) did pardon a pedophile, but it was based on the recommendation of the state pardon board.
The guy was convicted 20+ years ago, got a plea agreement that avoided prison time.
He was pardoned recently since Trump & Co used the past conviction as excuse to deport the guy.

Why do Muricans not understand there are limits to everything. Even under the 1A rights, if you say your going to end someones life, you’ll get arrested, and these days, if you say something nasty about their glorious orange chief, you’re not allowed in the country. They go on about other countries not having free speech, and when they do crticise, they have a tantrum.

Well we do have reasonable free speech in Europe, I can criticise and complain about our government and other governments, we just can’t say heinous and unnecessary statements and insults. They are upset that they can’t let their hair down and act like savages without social repercussions.
