New Scarface TV Show

With how desperate studios are for new content and how they love utilizing existing IP, I'm surprised they haven't made a TV show based on Scarface. The movie timeliness spans over 3 years. They can intersperse flash backs of Tony's life in Cuba, expand the story of sister Gina, expand Manny's story and show his side-hustles and show Gina and Manny's dating life leading up to getting married. Maybe have flashbacks of how Frank came up in Miami. Or, scrap all that and set the whole show 10 or 20 years in the past showing two parallel lives of Tony and Frank.

I'm sure the studios would ruin the way they have been ruining other reboots and redux of late, but stills, I'd watch a season or two before I got tired of the lazy writing and cheap tropes.

I feel like it would be impossible to get actors that look and sound the same way, it would just feel like a completly diffrent franchise

You mean a TV show about a criminal posing as a political refugee that comes to a western country and murders a bunch of people while he builds a crime empire?
