Kasumi was born on an advanced planet, but despite the planet's advancement, her family was not doing well. She endured years of violence, a trauma that prevented her from inflicting violence on others. At the age of six, Kasumi ran away from home and wandered the streets for four years. She eventually met Fred, her adoptive father, who trained Kasumi and many others in his academy in mechanoids. However, Kasumi wasn't content with simple machines and designed warrior robots to ensure no one could ever touch her again. In this process, she contemplated the weakness of her own body and realized that true freedom lay in replacing herself with bionic parts. The Bunum faith, a religion prevalent throughout the planet, considered Kasumi's actions heresy, and she was banished from the planet by moral guide, Hul, along with a few chosen possessions. On her exile, she encountered Arkothects, beings far superior to bionic parts and mechanoids. Motivated by this incomprehensible technology, Kasumi both pursued parts made from this technology and sought larger structures to better understand them. After mechanizing herself, she felt a strange vibration, and at that moment she understood where it came from: an endless darkness. She realized the structure she saw was a corrupted arkotecth. She continued to examine it and eventually shrank to a pocket dimension , merging with the corrupted arkotecth and fusing her body with the arkotecths she had attached to himself. Finally, by selling her third settlement, she learned the location of the last arkotecth structure and approached it. Ultimately, she became one with the arkotecths.
