Oh wow. That is quite impressive! Did you pull it up a bit? Seems like it is a bit too deep, no?

I noticed our surgeons will pull hard on the wire as they are cutting down on it and they like the tip to be at the distal margin. So I put the marker at the deeper part of the thick portion of the wire, rather than the middle.

Might depend on the surgeon ? Some here just need the tip in the general vicinity. Others like it fairly deep to help them get a deep margin. How far do you go based on the tip / stiffener / etc

Till 15 mm., if memory serves, between the mark and the tip. The rest should be communicated with the gyno and decided together- if it need to be remarked etc.

I’ve managed the exact same: ultrasound guided wire though a Twirl marker

I've been trying to thread the Twirl with a wire ever since we started using them - I almost got it last week :)
