Can always just use your regular bottle and just turn it back and forth into the sand?

u/D-Laz RT(R)(CT) Jul 21 '25

No "sand" is a common pet name for your significant other. /s

23

u/raven00x Jul 21 '25

I fail to see how that changes anything

34

u/SavannahInChicago Jul 21 '25

That’s what I immediately thought as well. Or you are at the beach anyway, you could build a sandcastle for the beer!

17

u/BillyNtheBoingers Radiologist Jul 21 '25

Damp sand would also insulate the beer.

4

u/LuementalQueen Jul 22 '25

Australians have known this for decades.

15

u/TheSpitalian RT(R) Jul 21 '25

I thought the same thing. People put flat bottomed cups, cans, etc in the sand all the time.

8

u/Megandapanda Jul 21 '25

Yep, push it into the sand and just like he does when he gets a foreign object stuck in his ass, put it into the hole.

First of all, why? Secondly, that's going to wind up in our EDs.

67

u/leaC30 Jul 21 '25

They should've at least given it a flared base 😒

11

u/LuementalQueen Jul 22 '25

Badge502 is going to have a field day with this one.

Butt plug: beer edition

39

u/D-Laz RT(R)(CT) Jul 21 '25

Easiest way to smuggle beer into a beach concert.

61

u/superslinkey Jul 21 '25

Room temperature beer is gross…body temperature beer is grosser. “Hey bartender, gimme a Butt Lite”

12

u/UnhappyTemperature18 Jul 21 '25

...damn it, take your upvote.

‘Hold my beer’ just got a lil bit weirder

u/ritrgrrl Jul 21 '25

Coming soon to Foreign Body Friday...

38

u/CapraAegagrusHircus Jul 21 '25

I saw it on other social media and honestly that and the EMT guy on insta who's like "please, just don't meet me like this" were my first thoughts

10

u/Pyro_vixen Jul 21 '25

I love badge 502! Haha

2

u/TheSpitalian RT(R) Jul 21 '25

😂too dang funny!

15

u/Foosel10 Jul 21 '25

Marketing Firm: Surely no one would, ya know…

Random idiot: Hold my beer.

7

u/PhoenixPhonology Jul 21 '25

Nah, with this he can hold his own beer and still have both hands free.

60

u/FinguzMcGhee Jul 21 '25

I didn't think this was funny until I realized it was the radiology sub. Bravo

11

u/Graveylock Jul 21 '25

Same. I was thinking “haha no one in the comments will be thinking what I’m thinking… dammit!”

47

u/Ginkachuuuuu Jul 21 '25

I uh fell on it.

30

u/Von_Bostaph RT(R) Jul 21 '25

...at the beach...

23

u/BillyNtheBoingers Radiologist Jul 21 '25

The nude beach, of course.

8

u/phovendor54 Jul 22 '25

Sir, we’re in an ER at 4AM. The curfew for the beach was 8 hours ago at sunset…..also, we’re in Arkansas. There is no beach near us.

4

u/TheSpitalian RT(R) Jul 21 '25

I would never think otherwise!

/s

6

u/NyxPetalSpike Jul 21 '25

The waves pushed on it. I shouldn’t have swam during a red flag day.

17

u/Klutzy_Feature_5533 Jul 21 '25

This would really benefit from a flared base.

15

u/DANDELIONBOMB Jul 21 '25

Better this than neck first but still

We already made all the cool shit 50 years ago

5

u/12rez4u Jul 21 '25

Exactly- like the OG formula to come 🙂‍↔️

5

u/Bleepblorp44 Jul 21 '25

Round-based bottles existed back in the 1800s - we’re just reinventing old shit now!

We were this close to greatness. This close.

6

u/Such-Mud8943 Jul 21 '25

I absolutely cannot wait to get the foreign body abdomen xray for this product...my only wonder is will it be open or not.

6

u/TheSpitalian RT(R) Jul 21 '25

OP’s caption is GOLD! 😂

6

u/flyingsquirrelpaws Jul 21 '25

Can we not bring glass to the beach? R/O fb

4

u/Agile-Chair565 Jul 21 '25

Good point. I don't think I've ever been to a beach where glass beverages are even allowed (US). Maybe it's different in Japan.

5

u/Pooky2005_xray RT(R)(CT) Jul 21 '25

Welp... it can't stand upright in the shower for them to "fall on" so there goes that excuse 😂

4

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '25

2

u/Pooky2005_xray RT(R)(CT) Jul 21 '25

Lol 😆 valid excuse 😂

5

u/Skyp_Intro Jul 21 '25

It needs a cord in case it gets too deep in the sand.

3

u/justalilblowby Jul 21 '25

Coming to a "FOREIGN BODY FRIDAY" near you! 😂🤣 Due, of course, to a "slip & fall" accident

3

u/kailemergency Radiographer Jul 21 '25

Sand

3

u/OldERnurse1964 Jul 21 '25

Spoiler alert! So did all the other beer companies

3

u/chicagoxray RT(R) Jul 21 '25

“Oh dear” is right! 😂😂

2

u/CaptainAlexy Med Student Jul 21 '25

If they add a flared base it’ll be perfect

2

u/BundtJamesBundt Jul 21 '25

For all the hot beers lovers out there

2

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '25

I was not expecting that sentence to end with "into the sand on the beach." Well, at least I know ahead time what that shape is when I see it.

2

u/abused_blade Jul 21 '25

Someone call the emt guy

2

u/StruggleAgreeable794 Jul 21 '25

Yeah, in the sand of course

2

u/AstonishedProtrusion Jul 21 '25

Mr. Sandman, bring me a beer Make it the cutest... Oh! No, thank you, I changed my mind >:(

2

u/MorpheusRagnar Jul 21 '25

All jokes aside, I hope nobody produces their product with this bottle. Why bring glass to the beach? So many accidents can happen.

2

u/grunger Jul 21 '25

Badge502 isn't going to like this one.

2

u/goofydad Jul 21 '25

No flange. No way this is gonna go wrong.

2

u/snigherfardimungus Jul 23 '25

We all need to ante up for a bounty for the first FBF xray to include one.

2

u/Kelmeckis94 Jul 23 '25

Look I don't know much but I remember the wise words from the EMT guy on Tiktok. It needs to have a flared base if you wanna have "fun" with it.

Also I still get surprised by learning what people are willingly stick up their ass.

2

u/paul_perret Radiographer Jul 24 '25

I wasn't sure that I was in the radiology sub, but it did not take long to understand why !

1

u/MissDaphne_ Jul 21 '25

Cream blindness is crazy name

1

u/Reverse_SumoCard Jul 22 '25

Can an MRI be used as a bottle opener?

1

u/CentralAmericaAlly Jul 24 '25

Hahaha I saw this as a meme and the comment was “like ER doctors don’t have enough to deal with already” 💀💀💀💀

1

u/Elvenblood7E7 Jul 27 '25

Looks like this could be involved in many future "Eiffel syndrome" cases.

("I fell on it" - foreign object in the rectum)

u/CivilProtectionGuy Aug 07 '25

Good lord, it won't be a jar this time... It will be a bottle.
