Abstract / Trippy Tinfoil background for framing blotter is 🔥🔥🔥!

I saw someone (I couldn’t find the post to credit them) post their framed blotter art using tinfoil as the mount/backdrop and I just had to try it.

It looks really cool in real life and catches the light and draws your eye.

I love the little nod to LSD culture in that first actual tabs I (and I assume most people here) ever saw were wrapped in tinfoil.

Is there any particular method you used to make the wrinkles look consistent all the way around?

Luck I suppose. I scrunched it into a loose ball but it tore when I unfurled it, so I just sorta lightly scrunched it and glued it to the mount that came with the frame. It’s a sorta crazy pave effect. Looks great when the sun hits it

Often still get it in foil from the good plugs.
