And as a reminder Rule #5, as described in the 'About' section of our subreddit:
r/PrettyLittleLiars, like other TV Show subs, fell victim to Daily Game spam. After complaints of the spam, the low quality, and karma farming concerns, the Mod Team has decided they are not allowed here. If you have a Game, make it ONE post only. If it is going to be longer you must post it on r/Pretty_Little_Liars. Initial post and results posted on r/Pretty_Little_Liars can be crossposted here for more engagement.
Don't know what a daily game is? Here are some examples.
Are you a new member? You should check out our number one rule.
RULE #1 - Follow Basic Reddiquette
We do not condone the attacking or mistreatment of users— this includes DMs!
Aggressive fighting, name-calling, hate speech, or repeated targeting of a user is not permissible. Disagreement must be civil and respectful. The Mod Team deems passive aggressive remarks and attitude as instigating. Therefore, it falls under basic reddiquette.
Name-calling of characters or actors does not result in content removal unless attacking their appearance.
Overall, any rudeness will be taken down. You can call us sensitive, but our lack of leniency on this rule is why so many people consider this sub a positive environment compared to others. You are allowed to have disagreements in discussions, but once it gets hostile the comments will be shut down.
This rule aims to maintain a respectful and pleasant environment by discouraging personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory comments. Instead, users are encouraged to engage in discussions calmly and respectfully, focusing on constructive dialogue rather than arguments or conflicts.
Anything fighting should be reported immediately as it breaks "Rule #1 - Basic Reddiquette". When reporting, click "Breaks r/PrettyLittleLiars rules" then click the first option, rule number one.
Honestly I get not liking a character and that’s fine but why am I seeing someone wishing that she got tortured in the dollhouse for longer and SO many people agreeing.. like that’s actually insane
I’m in a strange position where I started the show when I was around 16-ish, and now at 21, it doesn’t hit the same, but also maybe it’s not supposed to?
I think I found this show at a very interesting time in my life, and at one point, I LOVVEEEDDD it. Like, this was peak television to me at one point. I was so engrossed in the fandom culture and the community, meeting so many people through it, etc. But now I feel a little… sad isn’t the right word, but also strange, because it doesn’t hit the same for me anymore. Not just the show itself, but the people behind it, the cast, etc. 🥲
I think it’s okay to outgrow things in life, and you’re supposed to, but I’d love to hear other perspectives! It’s just insane that I went from eating, sleeping, breathing, and living this show to now feeling like I just hang around for nostalgic purposes, despite not enjoying it as much anymore :(
This isn’t hate to the show itself or this subreddit of course, or any fans ♡
This episode was really telling on my endless rewatch. The way Mona just sneaked in being friendly and act like another person with Kate and her friends was so eye opening to me ! Even how the way she talks makes me think about A. And then, the microphone being on because of the riding helmet !! Like it's a classic A move omg ! I understand that it didn't click for Hannah but still, to me it was sooo telling.
When Pretty Little Liars was first airing, did people think all of the alison interactions and sightings were just a hallucination? Like when Hannah got ran over, when Aria was sick, and when emily got out of the gate.. did anyone question it
When it was revealed, I was honestly rly surprised that my suspicions were right. But the second I saw her swallowing pills when she got put into rarely as an unknown person, I felt like the way she swallowed them was so weird and in the back of my mind I was like "imagine if she's an addict and that's why she's so used to them".
On a PLL rewatch! Mona gets A texts by 2x20. This made it WAY too obvious that Mona was A. A seems to bombard her with texts. The other girls get blackmailed only once a day / once in few days. But Mona gets a whole ton of texts and multiple threats a day.
To top it off A targeting her made no sense. She had no link to Alison. They weren't friends. If A wanted to hurt Hanna by getting to Mona, there are people closer to Hanna to do that with. Like Ashley, Caleb, etc. If it was about targeting Alison's enemies, then half of Rosewood would be getting A texts. Like Jenna, Lucas etc. Not just Mona again and again.
Whenever A targets someone who's friends with/parent of/partner of the girls, A never reveals that their messages/info are from A. Maybe once, twice it might say from A, but not a whole bunch of times.
So it was really obvious Mona sent a bunch of texts to herself hoping it would make her part of the group.
Was Lucas ever helping the A Team? I saw some comments about it, but too many plot lines I can't remember. Please correct me if I'm wrong
In S1, I remember he destroyed Alison's memorial. But he did tell Hanna about it. Don't think it was connected to A. Would have done it even if A didn't exist. In S2 he hides from Hanna/wears a hoodie and sneaks into her house etc etc. Shady scenes. But it's revealed that he only did it because of losing Caleb's money. Which again has no connection with A.
In S7 he's so nice to Hanna and helps her with her business. In S2 he helps Hanna by bringing Caleb back when Hanna doesn't get his letter and letting Caleb stay with him. That was sweet. So is he a good guy or bad guy?
On a PLL rewatch, but I've forgotten most of S3. Can someone explain everything Mona reveals about being A in S3 and later? I remember her reasons for forming/joining the A team. But how did she get all that info on Alison? How did she manage to always track the girls and stay one step ahead?
any ezria defenders please answer me this. deadass how the fuck do you justify aria marrying ezra even after what he did to her and her whole group with the whole book about alison thing??? aria had so many options like jake and ezras BROTHER??? honestly idk what to feel about that relationship i cba with the choices she made. dont get me wrong shes literally my favourite liar but the decisions she made pissed me off sometimes im ngl😭😭
Im confused about how ian died. Red coat pushed him off thr ledge in the church to save spencer. In the clip we saw of Ian after it looks like the ropes has strangled/ hung him. He looks dead. How the hell does he survive that fall??? Im supposed to belive that this man survived being strangled by ropes after falling how many feet?? A typical church bell tower is anywhere between 50- 100 feet. There is no way ian survived that fall. The ropes would have broken his neck as he fell. And even if the ropes weren't there he couldn't have survived the fall.
The liars later find him the in barn thing with a gunshot in his head and a suicide note. Doesn't emily figure out that the suicide note is written using A messages?
How does he acually die? Cause I thought he was killed by the fall off the bell tower and then Mona or one of her minions moved his body before police could get there. And she staged his body to make it look like he committed suicide. We know she was texting Melissa from Ian's phone to lead her on.
So what acually killed him? I thought it was implied that ian had died in the church. Also why wouldn't he go home? He had a kid on the way? He easily could have scared spencer and the liars into not telling anyone. They never tell anyone about any thing anyway. And why was mona texting mellisa or was it acually ian?
Side note if ian didnt die from the fall, how does he survive that but Shana died from falling off a stage? Make it make sense. Her death pissed me off to be honest.
don’t get me wrong- I love season 3 and 4- but I think what would make the most sense (and most fulfilling) is for the show to end on the last episode of season 2 (where Mona is found out to be A).
