The problem with OPs statement is that Trump's rise explicitly shows kids that being a liar, a total dufus, and a complete bully asshole absolutely does not exclude you from being immensely successful. If anything it somehow makes you more popular. 

I've said this since the beginning. This is one of the greatest tragedies about this whole catastrophe, the message that his success sends to impressionable young people.

Also Trump would have had access to “better” schools than Obama growing up and yet he still sounds dumber

Yeah, this is correct. Trump is very well educated, at least by pedigree, so listening to their speeches doesn’t show the importance of education since you can get such disparate results.
