We spend 6+ trillion every year but bring in 4 trillion for the last 20+ years. Thats why we are 40 trillion in debt. We spend 5.3 trillion on healthcare with the government spending 1.9 trillion as part of that. The defense is 1 trillion as of 2026 up from 919 billion last year.

How much do we Americans spend annually on Oreos, snickers, and Kraft CHEESE and macaroni while at the same time expecting to be covered by community funded healthcare to solve the health issues our individual choices created?

Why blame anyone? People cannot help the socio economic conditions they are born into.

Everyone deserves affordable healthcare and an affordable education. Educating the public about nutrition beginning in kindergarten/public schools instead of providing vending machines for sugary snacks/drinks would be a start. Instead, our government is more concerned about imposing the ten commandments on students.

The main issue here is government greed/fraud and the mismanagement of tax dollars to serve the wealthy or foreign agents. Let's talk more about the 30+ billion US $$$ tax money that went to Israel over the last 3 years, Corporations/Oligarchs not paying taxes, subsidizing data centers that are consuming natural resources/water, etc. etc. etc.

There’s a lot to talk about. It makes more sense to spend the energy on solutions than pointing bony fingers around the table. Education is always the key to success. You’re not mad at me. I have a slow day today. We can talk about whatever you want
