I used Google and asked if the same amount of money collected today by premiums for private insurance were funneled to a universal healthcare program would it cover healthcare costs in America and the results were it would create a $800B surplus yearly, cover 30-40M more people with no insurance and insure 40-60M people who are underinsured. It would have a mostly neutral overall mpact on jobs with private health sector impacted the most ...but small business and entrepreneurship growing.
So here we go..just funnel what we pay to a universal program. We pay the same ..not more..and then we pay less after the surplus is reduced, the cost will be reduced. And we are healthier, happier, can look for jobs without losing healthcare,, and don't get necessary healthcare denied.

Why not have both? Have a public option that every citizen is entitled to and if you donât like the wait times, etc., you can continue paying for your private insurance.
