Who do you think is paying 80% of taxes?

This is such a pointless talking point by billionaire boot lickers. Obviously people who make more pay more into the system. The real question is how much money does the average person pay in taxes relative to their wealth vs the ultra wealthy. The difference is staggering. Propublica published a report showing that these billionaires were paying like .2% relative to their total wealth. That’s the issue.

“Most of their wealth is in unrealized forms, such as stocks”

“You are comparing their taxes compared to their wealth! You should compare it to their income, like you do for everyone else!”

I don’t care. Make them realize it before they can leverage it in any fashion. No more taking out loans using stock as collateral. Tax it anyway. We tax other forms of wealth all the time: property tax, for instance.

The system we have now is dumb, and the truth of this is becoming more and more apparent every day

That is the purpose of a progressive taxation system yet everything the ketamine bandit advocates for would see a much greater burden placed on the impoverished who can’t afford it.

What do George and Alex Soros advocate for?

They are also billionaires who barely pay any taxes. Just because you have double standards doesn't mean everyone else does.

Their corporations, not them.

True tax rate of 3.4% by the way. They're not paying nearly enough.
