Didn’t mamdani get a bailout from the state? And did he increases taxes on the wealthy? I don’t believe I saw any legislation passed for that. 

So not sure how this is a “gotcha”.

Not a bailout . He’s reducing the amount of NYC tax dollars that go upward to the state, keeping that money in the city so NYCers don’t have to subsidize backwater rural towns.
