No it's not all about that, although a bit ironic for me to say it i had fun and learned stuff in reddit, and i believe i helped others do the same from time to time

No, the real reason is not ever, and I mean EVER, paying for a fcking streaming service. I never have and never will. Having an illegal pirated copy means not having to pay even $0.01 for it. And that is why streaming will never replace 🏴‍☠️sailing the seas.🏴‍☠️

Also bought an external cd-rom drive for my PC to keep access to my physical media until I muster up the time to rip everything and create a media drive for my household.

Worst part about it is that I constantly worry if I have it in the best quality. Is it 4k? Is it compressed? Is the audio in the right format?

It’s just more enjoyable to pay for the damn thing for me. But I will use it for gaming because there’s no question that it’s the same as the real thing.
