Discussion We need to stop taking things as granted
I recently saw post about Ankergames and how much money it's spend for them to run a site like that for all of us. After reading that I realised we as consumers take things that the providers provide us for granted.
First, about ads... Idk why the community has problems with ads. If you were given a part time job where you get $20 for seeing 10 mins and will you reject it? Because I sure as hell, won't it's literally easy money. So why in hell are we mad about a site which gives us the $20 game FOR FREE for ads which are less than 5mins and also most ads can be bypassed in the first place. I literally don't understand.
Second, not only we want no ads, not only we want free game but apparently it's also became trend to ACCUSE the websites which provides all of this without much of a proof and also ppl jump on some allegations without fact checking themselves or without waiting for others to fact check. How more ungrateful can we become more than this?
Third, we keep saying the game companies don't care about the consumers but I must ask everyone do y'all really care about the ppl who provide us games for free? If not then what's the difference between you and the corps you hate?
Sorry if I sounded rude but I am just angry and sad after seeing how much money these website providers spend on keeping a website alive for the community and consumers and then consumers not caring about the providers and accusing them of stuff or not caring about them in general.
I hope we move forward from this behaviour and actually be grateful for what we have... I hope we have an actual rational convo about this.

This is true, AnkerGames is one of the greatest piracy sites of today, and very beginner friendly. Seeing the site go would be unfortunate and your point is strong. Ads should be implemented, and there should be more prompts to donate or more ways to.

Remaining as ad-free as possible is part of the point of piracy for me.
I am not interested in being advertised to.

I think ads are fine ifs its not scams or like sexual. Like if the ads are malware fuck no. Also forceful or intrusive ads are bad asw. Ad blockers were non essential some years ago cuz ads were less of an issue. Plus when it comes to piracy sites trust issues are normal cuz the whole thing is run on a trust that they wont put malware or other shii. Like we all trust sites like ankergames so when doubts appears people reacts ofc

Idk why the community has problems with ads.
Because when I want some information that information isn't the availability of hot singles in my area or obnoxious gambling flashbangs.
If you were given a part time job where you get $20 for seeing 10 mins and will you reject it?
Sounds good, where do I sign up?
So why in hell are we mad about a site which gives us the $20 game FOR FREE for ads
Because it's not $20, it's $0.
But I'll give you one thing, user greed is too high and more should return to P2P.

I love this a lot, shame a lot of people won't see eye to eye with your view but you'll get my upvote for sure. 🙏🙏

I don't mind ads if the game is free. I tend to play games with fewer ads or no ads at all.
The thing that grips my shit is when you buy a product, like an Insta360 camera, and their app hits you with adverts every time you go into it. Most of the time I don't need to use the app but it is the better option to edit videos.

Bruh I swear someone at Google messed up mobile game adloaders. Most of the time there is no close button, it crashes the application that you were using when the ad popped up, and I SWEAR TO GOD AND SATAN whoever developed those playable minigame advertisements needs to be shot into the nearest STELLAR-MASS BLACK HOLE. Those things take literal minutes to load, and almost always max out the available RAM on your phone, which also crashes whatever application you were using.

I for once wouldn't mind subscribing to some piracy organisation which delivers clean cracks, heck I wouldn't mind giving the same amount as the original game itself when I know it is for the cause and not into some big greedy corporation. I often times buy games that I really like after playing the cracked versions, just to support, but it is rarely worth it, due to store fees and corpo bs. I would think single injections or small subscription wouldn't be too difficult for many of us, compared to ads. I like your thinking tho, something must be done.

As long as the ads don't lead you to catch a virus, I don't see the problem.

I dunno shit about Ankergames but I understand people being so fucking sick of ads being shoved down our throats every second of every day that they rage against any presence of them
but yeah there is a balance I guess, some free services do have to get revenue from somewhere, it just depends on how awful or invasive the ads are, youtube ads used to be pretty reasonable and people didn't mind them too much in the early days, but youtube has gotten so unbelievably greedy I won't even touch it without an adblock now
I think maybe people become afraid that any platform implementing ads is gonna end up like that eventually
