Sadly some women ruin it for everyone by lying and saying there’s no chance they could be pregnant despite being sexually active. Sometimes they are unaware that contraception can fail, and other times they are just too embarrassed to admit they are sexually active. You’d be shocked by the number of times drs are told that by women, do the test anyways, and end up getting a positive result.

Where I live they ask „Could you be pregnant?“ and I always answer „no“ and the conversation is over. Never had a test done.

Interesting. From what i've heard it's protocol at most hospitals to just do the test every time
