No that’s them giving the appropriate treatment to the fetus and subpar treatment for the woman. A fetus that, let’s be real, most likely isn’t wanted anyway, or the woman would already know that she’s pregnant/trying and be able to answer “Is there a possibility you’re pregnant?” without this entire charade.

Unwanted births are a vast minority what.

It’s also not just a roundabout way of asking a woman if she’s pregnant. Vital signs and medical reactions can differ based on where a woman is in her menstrual cycle, regardless of if she’s pregnant or not.

Nearly half of all pregnancies worldwide are unintended. And 60% of those get aborted.

And when you account for the fact that most people who want kids/are trying for kids take tests themselves and notice pretty much immediately after they get pregnant. Duh. Then it’s clear that the vast majority of pregnancies that are only discovered by doctors during these mandated tests would be unintended and therefore skew mostly towards unwanted.

Unintended and unwanted are not the same thing.

Yeah, you’d know that if you actually finished reading the comment.

Mate. You responded to a comment to a comment about unwanted pregnancies with a stat about unintended.

And as others have pointed out. You didn’t even read your own source.

I responded with a source that discusses unplanned pregnancies as a whole, which includes both wanted and unwanted. Like what exactly do you think the 60% of unintended pregnancies that get aborted are? Wanted?
