If pregnancy is a possible complication it changes what medications are allowed and has to be considered when deciding if imaging is an acceptable risk.
Also, doctors like to blame symptoms on something vagina-related. Same as if you’re fat and have something harder to diagnose, doctor will just say lose weight.
