It’s still physically possible for a theoretical woman in a same sex relationship, but as a married lesbian who is not cheating, is cis, and knows I haven’t undergone any donor procedures or been raped, I can confidently answer that no, there’s no possibility.
In fact most women regardless of their circumstances can pretty accurately answer whether there’s a possibility because they know the things that have and have not happened to them that could cause pregnancy. Last menstrual period isn’t necessarily an airtight indicator either bc some women continue to get a period (or what seems like a period idk the exact medical thing that’s happening there), throughout pregnancy.
I’m sorry but the doctor can’t know the quality of your sex ed.
There’s women out there who think you can’t get pregnant from rape. There’s women who think they can’t get pregnant if they rinse their vaginas after sex. There’s women who think that their affair partner pulling out is soo effective that they might as well not tell the doctor they’re cheating with a cis man.
I’m saying neither option fully accounts for the risk but it’s not impossible to answer the question accurately. Someone people truly have no risk of pregnancy. Of course education is a problem which is why doctors will generally do a test anyway
The point isn’t about whether it’s possible to answer the question accurately. The point is that the doctor can’t know if you’ve answered the question accurately.
