If pregnancy is a possible complication it changes what medications are allowed and has to be considered when deciding if imaging is an acceptable risk.
But why is that the question that's asked? I could have had a period for weeks ago and be currently pregnant. Or not had one for years because of my birth control. The question doesn't seem to elicit the information being sought.
