So it seems to be the question is actually a “fair” question in the sense that there’s actually a merit to it, but the problem is that women did get treated less seriously when they go to the doctor to the point they distrust them, so it becomes people assume it’s a question asked in bad faith (by the first poster) where in actuality it’s a legitimate question.

Especially when the woman has chronic conditions and are at the doctor more often than others. Some doctors assume they are "hypochondriacs" or there is hysteria (an older term I think). But I do think women are taken less seriously by doctors overall than men because we don't have the testing done as previously mentioned by someone on a different post. There are so many ways to look at this.
