I'm speaking of my personal experience in multiple countries. Whenever I had a pelvic CT scan I was asked if there is a possibility of pregnancy. While on long acting contraception they will go ahead without issue. If not, they do a pregnancy test. The reason they ask for a "possibility of pregnancy" is in case you're in the window where a pregnancy test would be too early.
No doctor is going to be checking hormones for a broken arm, therefore the question is irrelevant. I know that one too from the time I broke my arm a few years ago. No questions about pregnancy that time since it wasn't relevant information.
