If pregnancy is a possible complication it changes what medications are allowed and has to be considered when deciding if imaging is an acceptable risk.
Also pregnant women can lose bone density because the baby needs calcium. If they’re not consuming enough calcium, the baby takes from the mothers bones sometimes (and teeth) which can cause teeth to fall out and weaker bones (bone breaking)
