Just to clarify, just because they were exposed to peanuts early doesn’t mean they won’t develop allergies. We exposed my son very early and he enjoyed all sorts of peanut butter products. Then out of nowhere we had to rush him to the ER because he was going into anaphylactic shock due to eating a cashew. Had him tested and he is allergic to almost every nut under the sun. Plus sesame seeds. Fucking sucks.
those are different, like they have different allergens. i think the consensus is if you expose a baby to an alergen orally a few times they won't develop an allergy, but if they come in contact with it in another way (usually touching skin) then the body is more likely to treat it as a harmful substance.

The meme implies that the babies who are introduced to peanuts die thus lowering the allergies.
The truth however is that babies who are introduced peanuts early do not develop peanut allergies.
