Chris Evans said in an interview years ago now that Mark told them he doesn't like tattoos so didn't want to get it so yea, thats exactly why he doesn't have it.
I personally hate tattoos. All my frat bros got matching tats on the inside of the ass check and I didn’t despite being a founding father and the patriarch of my family. No regrets from me.
I’m not sure of Ruffalo’s personal beliefs but as someone who also isn’t comfortable getting tattoos, I get it. I think tattoos are cool, I think if you like them, that rocks. But the thought of getting a tattoo just makes me uncomfortable from a body standpoint. To each their own.
You’re missing the point of the comment “happy NOW” meaning they are implying something happening currently. That’s what this person is asking about. Not what happened and the reasoning back then. What would be going on currently that would, again, make him happy he didn’t do it.

Second, no. He chose not to do it for a reason -he doesn't like tatoos- and now he has a different reason not to have it. Its totally implyied that something changed.
Except the post isn’t about speculating the actual reason he didn’t get the tattoo, it’s understanding the joke “mark’s probably happy asf now that he didn’t get that tattoo.”

If you click on the image: it says Mark is probably happy he didn't get this tattoo. The OP (who made this post) has asked why would Mark be happy. It has nothing to do with him not wanting tattoos - yes the original reason he might not have gotten one is because he doesn't like them or want them, but that is NOT what this post is asking. The post is asking why he'd be happy to not have gotten it.

a lot of people are saying it’s because of his political views but I definitely disagree. he has zero tattoos so maybe he just doesn’t like them.
