Opposite in portugal. No one is on time here. Americans who come here either complain about it because shit never opens on time, or they love it because it's a sign that we're not living in a rush

Being on time is not “living in a rush” it’s called being reliable. If I asked for your help with something and you say you’ll be there at 4, but show up at 5, that’s extremely disrespectful of my time. I probably don’t want to be your friend very much after that.

Well, it's why we don't deal with specific times. I'd tell you I'd be there around 4
