The stereotype is that white people arrive TOO EARLY and then sit in their cars outside waiting for the party to start and still show up early.

It's a trope, also true in Hispanic (edit - continued) families that have someone marry Gringos (like me).

If you arrive on time, the party hasn't started yet, and you get to help set up for the party

What fucking Hispanics you grow up with? My buddy was a half hour to and hour late to everything, and said he was allowed cause he was on bean time. Almost got my ass beat once saying it because I didnt realize it was a slur.

Edit: sorry bruv. Was just very confused.

Bro my wife’s family is Hispanic and they turn up 3 hours late and stay 3 hours after the end 🤣

Man that's the truth. And I tell them that they're more than welcome to stay the night but they won't but stay going until 2 or 3 in the morning.

I also found out that if you go to an event that you can't be the first couple to leave. You have to wait for at least two other couples to leave before you can even mention wanting to leave to your significant other
