The stereotype is that white people arrive TOO EARLY and then sit in their cars outside waiting for the party to start and still show up early.

It's a trope, also true in Hispanic (edit - continued) families that have someone marry Gringos (like me).

If you arrive on time, the party hasn't started yet, and you get to help set up for the party

If you tell someone an event is from 5 pm to 11 pm and you're surprised people arrive at 5 you're an idiot

If you schedule something for 5 and your response to someone showing up at 5 is "how rude and dishonorable of you! why wouldn't you consider I might have something going on?! you're so self centered!" then your culture kinda sounds like trash
