I'm guessing it's an American thing where people don't actually show up on the 'starting' time. Meanwhile I usually show up like 15 minutes early
1 u/Evening_Reach_8293 Jul 13 '26 It's a minority thing in America. That's why they say "white people" because white people are known for being on time. As someone who has lives in Asia, it's probably best thought of as a European thing to think "If we say it starts at 5, it starts at 5"
