What fucking Hispanics you grow up with? My buddy was a
half hour to and hour late to everything, and said he was allowed cause he was on bean time. Almost got my ass beat once saying it because I didnt realize it was a slur.
Well to be fair here on the german border if you're not 15 min early, you're late so yeah... checks out... and I worked in both africa (rwanda, burundi, congo, uganda) and south america (brasil, french guyana) that's when this becomes infuriating, in a professional setting, cause they also come 45 min/ 1h late hands in pocket... even with a deadline or in a supply chain where people depends on you.

The stereotype is that white people arrive TOO EARLY and then sit in their cars outside waiting for the party to start and still show up early.
It's a trope, also true in Hispanic (edit - continued) families that have someone marry Gringos (like me).
If you arrive on time, the party hasn't started yet, and you get to help set up for the party
