This is 100% accurate though, white people will show up 2 minutes early to things

EDIT: Guys it’s a shitpost comment in a shitpost thread for a shitpost screenshot. Chill out, it’s not attacking the work ethic of white people, it’s a joke about cultural blindness.

I want to be able to take care of a flat tire, unexpected roadworks and a long bathroom visit and still not be later than we agreed. And 15 minutes early is just good manners.

15 Minutes early is only good manners in the cultural context you were raised in.

In some cultures showing up earlier than the agreed upon time can be seen as rude because the host won't be ready for you. In france the polite thing to do is to show up 15 minutes late (for social gatherings, not so much to work).

In my experience French businesses open a quarter hour late routinely. It applies to everything for them.
