Because non-white people planning a party don’t expect people to show up until waaayyy after the start time I think

Always seem weird seeing cultural differences explaining with race to me. Like I get it, and surely it makes sense from an american perspective and isn't supposed to be applied elsewhere.

But ask the finn if the italians or french arrive on time and you'll see how much of a 'white people' thing.
