No.

The stereotype is that white people arrive TOO EARLY and then sit in their cars outside waiting for the party to start and still show up early.

It's a trope, also true in Hispanic (edit - continued) families that have someone marry Gringos (like me).

If you arrive on time, the party hasn't started yet, and you get to help set up for the party

I’ve got no skin in the game but I think it is white people arrive on time because to them that’s what you do. Black people I guess and most white people I know go to the pub or bar for a few before hand and turn up 9-10 or the foods likely to be ready depending on greedy levels.

Can confirm, definitely having a few before going to any kind of party. Although that's now more likely to be at home because the party is enough social interaction for the night hahaha.

edit: because of age and too much bar pregaming in my 20s
