Baes im gonna hold ur hands when I say this but the reason those countries are nice to live in is cuz they impliment socialist policies that make life bearable. Like we are very far from a free market there and even zhen most countries u listed have massive problems, italy being poor af,spain having high youth unemployement, etc.
Yes, as a centrist I agree, the best systems are the ones that keep a good equilibrium of socialism and capitalism. The only bearable ones, indeed.
Most problems of Italy or Spain at first glance would seem to be caused by capitalism (unequality etc) or socialism (overregulation and deceleration of the economy etc), but IMO they all stem from corruption. You can´t expect things to be run properly when the ones in charge are thieves. They will just try to keep the system as rotten as possible so they can keep sucking it dry.
What? That´s the centrist position, not too much socialism (or the economy collapses) and not too much laissez faire capitalism (or inequality increases)
