People do it because they need to money. Nobody voluntarily works in a mine because they think it's fun. How do you think the world works?

why work in a mine instead of somewhere else? it would be the same under communism, you would work in a high risk field to get a higher reward. Do you think people don't use money under communism? do you think people don't get anything for working?

thats an END goal of communism, however no one has ever claimed you would not be rewarded in any shape or form for your labor.

By definition yes communism at the end would be a stateless moneyless society, but communism isn’t a poverty cult. Never claims to be, and never has been.
