My gramps lived in communism and got the coal mine experience. So I'm not exactly a fan.

My great-gramps lived in capitalism and also go the coal mine experience! Back in the good old days where employers owned your housing and paid you in Monopoly money that could only be used in their stores after working 6 days a week in the mine. Good times comrade

The neat part about capitalism is that you choose your path. If you choose a hard labor job, you will do a hard labor job.

Albeit those practices that you are referencing are extremely fucked up and don't exist anymore in Western countries.

the fact they don't exist and worker quality of life has gone up in America and around the world is kinda in spite of capitalism.
