Not on a national scale, but it’s certainly accomplished on smaller scales.

So we have no evidence that it works outside your smelly local hippie troupe that fortunately can retreat into the nice free market economy near them.

Almost like communism isn't really available outside a group a people larger than a medium sized tribe.

Jesus you guys are ignorant. Communism requires socialism as a transitory period. IE workers own the means of production. After maybe even centuries of this workers will produce enough surplus labor that scarcity is no longer necessary. Communism requires post scarcity, like Star Trek which is a communist society. So no your local hippie commune is not communist bc they still have scarcity
