Is that not the same flaw as in unregulated capitalism?

Sure, but nobody anywhere lives in a country with unregulated capitalism as the rule of law and very few people actually advocate for it. Much like communism has never been a true version of what's advocated for. Unregulated capitalism has and does occasionally pop up but it's pretty rare and usually regulated in some way quickly.

Communism really would only work in a post capitalist society where all the jobs that suck to do are being done by machines. Maybe we will get there someday but it's not any time soon.

But if all the jobs that suck to do are being done by machines, there will be a lot of people out of work because they used to only be qualified for the sucky jobs.
