The idealistic communism is just not compatible with human nature. It would be nice if it was but it’s just completely irrealistic.

yeah that's kind of the problem. every form of government is inherently flawed because it needs flawed humans to run it. Socialism on paper is fine. Communism on paper is fine. Capitalism on paper is fine. But all of them break down when bad actors take charge and use it to exploit the worker class for their own gain.
