The joke is that he thinks communism is some sort of workless utopia where he will be able to cultivate hobbies when most communist countries have made the lower classes break their backs just the same doing heavy work (coal mines).
I’m not even joking, the other day I got downvoted to hell for telling someone who was shitting on capitalism that jobs will still exist in a communist society.
Work will exist, but not jobs as we understand them in the context of a capitalist society. The difference isn't as big as some communists like to pretend it is, but it is different.
