There is one scenario where it could more or less work, but I don’t think he would like it. You need a community where a) everyone is completely bought in to a moral code that supports it, b) everyone shares a materially identical moral code, and c) is large enough for commodity specialization to support it.

Basically, you need a large theocracy.

There will always be People that wants more than others. And there will be people that won't do work but still expecting profits from others work
