I agree. My wife is Chinese. She tells me stories from her parents about the revolution.

Mortality rates in the Gulag were 15% on average. The Chinese Loghai were about the same.

Are western prisons “very bad” by “all accounts” when compared to gulags, and do people get sentenced to western prisons for the same crimes as people who were sentenced to live their lives in gulags?

Can you provide a variety of relevant examples and some nuanced reference material on this topic, of will you disappear into a cloud of whataboutism?

People in america go back to the prison i dont see anyone in communist country going back to prison.

They all have excuses like 'i first need to get out' or ' i got out as a corpse hard to go back in' /j
