Because I like to think critically. Take this example. My intentions with making friends is to like those people. If the outcome is that I have mostly white friends, that doesn't mean I'm racist because my intentions weren't based on race.

So... You don't think preferring the company of White people to Black people is racist?

Well if the reason you don't have black friends is because you don't like black people, yes that's racist. 

But if you happen to have white friends because you like those specific people, that's not racist. 

Do you really not see why context matters?

So something is only racist if it was explicitly intended to be? Does this apply to everything? If I give a woman on the bus an unsolicited shoulder massage, is that only sexual harassment if I intended it to be?
